For players who enjoy building dream matches, WWE 2K26 final DLC offers something more interesting than a routine farewell. The last Ringside Pass season mixes legendary tag team wrestling, modern newcomers and memorable versions of established stars. It also arrives alongside a separate Street Fighter crossover, giving fans two very different ways to expand their game.

Released on October 28, 2026, Ringside Pass Season 6 marks the end of the game’s seasonal content schedule. However, the real question is whether its additions are worth picking up before attention eventually shifts to another installment.

WWE 2K26 final DLC gives roster builders more possibilities

Instead of focusing exclusively on current WWE television, Visual Concepts has used the final season to connect different generations of wrestling. Four playable superstars headline the Premium track, with Earthquake and Typhoon bringing The Natural Disasters back into the spotlight.

The former WWE Tag Team Champions offer an obvious attraction for anyone recreating classic tag team rivalries. Their inclusion also adds a recognizable heavyweight partnership to a roster that already covers several wrestling eras.

Meanwhile, Octagon Jr. and Royce Keys make their WWE 2K series debuts. Octagon Jr. previously held the AAA World Trios Championship, while Keys joined WWE in January 2026. Their arrival gives players an opportunity to experiment with newer faces alongside established legends.

All four wrestlers can be claimed at Tier 1 of the Premium track. According to 2K, they collectively introduce 43 additional moves and taunts, meaning the update contributes more than character models alone.

Classic personas make Season 6 appealing beyond new wrestlers

New playable characters are only part of the package. Season 6 also revisits familiar WWE names through alternate personas, allowing fans to recreate particular periods of their careers.

Premium rewards include Masked AJ Styles and Bray Wyatt ’23. The latter reflects Wyatt’s appearance at the 2023 Royal Rumble, providing a recognizable version of a performer whose presentation changed significantly throughout his career.

However, players who prefer not to purchase Premium still have something to pursue. The free reward track features AJ Styles Retro, Rhea Ripley ’20 and Eddie Guerrero ’05. These personas must be earned through progression rather than being handed out automatically.

That distinction matters. Someone interested primarily in historical versions of existing wrestlers can work toward the free rewards, whereas fans wanting entirely new playable superstars will need Premium access.

At $9.99 across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2 and PC, the Premium track follows the game’s established seasonal approach. Rewards require gameplay progression, although its four new wrestlers are immediately claimable at the opening tier.

The Street Fighter crossover offers a different kind of DLC

October 28 also brought the WWE 2K26 X Street Fighter Elite Pack. Unlike Ringside Pass Season 6, this crossover is a separate purchase and is not included in existing premium editions or bundles.

Its appeal is less about recreating authentic wrestling history and more about turning matches into unusual arcade-inspired encounters. The Rock adopts an M. Bison-inspired appearance, Rey Mysterio becomes Ryu, and Bianca Belair takes on Cammy’s look. Ultimate Warrior as Blanka and Dominik Mysterio as Ken complete the five-character lineup.

More importantly, the crossover goes beyond costumes. Signature attacks such as the Shinku Hadoken, Psycho Crusher, Shoryuken, Spiral Arrow and Electric Thunder introduce recognizable fighting-game elements into WWE’s wrestling formula.

Those moves are also available to custom wrestlers through Create-a-Superstar. In addition, the pack includes themed entrance animations, music and 15 customization parts inspired by Street Fighter characters.

This creates an interesting difference between the two releases. Season 6 strengthens the traditional wrestling roster, while the crossover offers tools for players who prefer imaginative creations and unconventional matchups.

Fans following other releases across PlayStation 5 games can also find further coverage of new content and updates on Battle4Play.

What the final Ringside Pass means for WWE 2K26

Throughout its post-launch cycle, WWE 2K26 has combined new playable wrestlers with alternate versions of existing stars. Earlier releases included the WrestleMania 42 pack, featuring Cody Rhodes and Alexa Bliss personas inspired by their appearances at the event.

That approach gives the roster two distinct ways to grow. Fresh wrestlers expand the selection of opponents, while historical personas help recreate particular matches, entrances and rivalries without introducing entirely different performers.

Season 6 brings both ideas together for the final time in this year’s Ringside Pass schedule. For dedicated players, its value may depend less on the number of additions and more on which wrestling eras they want represented in their personal roster.

There is also an important limit to what this release tells us about the franchise’s future. Although Season 6 is the final seasonal pass, 2K and Visual Concepts have not officially announced WWE 2K27. Therefore, it would be premature to treat this update as confirmation of a sequel’s release date or features.

For now, the WWE 2K26 final DLC provides a fitting opportunity to revisit classic rivalries, try unfamiliar wrestlers and expand custom creations. Whether the $9.99 Premium track is worthwhile ultimately depends on how much time players expect to spend with the current game.

With the seasonal schedule complete, which addition deserves a permanent place in your roster: The Natural Disasters, the newcomers or one of the classic personas?
