A datamined achievement configuration hints at 55 rewards across PS5 and Xbox, but Rockstar has not released or confirmed any trophy list.

The GTA 6 trophy leak has raised an unusual question just days before Rockstar’s next game arrives: does a mysterious 1,000-value entry represent the final reward for completing everything, or is it simply unfinished configuration data? A reported total of 55 achievements offers an intriguing clue, but it does not reveal what players will actually need to accomplish.

With Grand Theft Auto VI scheduled for November 19, 2026, on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, achievement hunters have little time left to wait. However, Rockstar Games has not published or confirmed a GTA 6 trophy or achievement list. Everything currently circulating comes from third-party observations.

Why the GTA 6 trophy leak revolves around one unusual entry

The reported data comes from Xbox achievement configuration information identified by dataminer @TexFunz2. Fan account iGrandTheftAuto shared the findings on X on November 7, indicating that 55 achievements are currently configured for GTA 6.

Most entries follow a peculiar numerical pattern. According to the report, 54 achievements carry values running from 1 through 54. The remaining entry, however, displays a value of 1000.

That discrepancy is more interesting than the total alone. iGrandTheftAuto suggested two possible explanations: the unusual entry could be associated with completing the entire achievement collection, or it could be a placeholder related to Xbox’s Mythic achievement tier.

Neither interpretation has been verified. In particular, the 1,000-value entry should not be treated as proof of a special reward, a confirmed Gamerscore payout or an exceptionally difficult challenge. The configuration offers a number, not an explanation of its purpose.

Could the GTA 6 trophy leak point to Platinum and Mythic rewards?

The PlayStation side adds another piece to the puzzle. PlayStation Game Size, an account that monitors PlayStation Store information, replied that the PS5 edition would also feature 55 trophies.

That apparent agreement between platforms has prompted speculation about their respective completion rewards. Insider Gaming interprets the reports as suggesting a likely Platinum trophy on PS5 and Mythic achievement on Xbox. Nevertheless, those remain interpretations of unofficial information rather than confirmed GTA 6 features.

Xbox’s newer completion system makes the speculation particularly relevant. Our previous coverage explains how Xbox’s new Mythic Achievements work.

Still, knowing how that system works does not establish how Rockstar will use it. The leaked 1,000-value entry could be connected to completion recognition, but the available data cannot settle that question.

For PlayStation players, the same caution applies. A reported count of 55 trophies does not provide the names, conditions or difficulty of those awards. Nor has Rockstar confirmed that a Platinum trophy is included.

How 55 leaked rewards compare with Rockstar’s previous games

The reported count also offers a useful historical comparison. According to Insider Gaming, Grand Theft Auto V launched with 51 achievements or trophies, while Red Dead Redemption 2 had 52.

If GTA 6 ultimately launches with 55, its initial collection would be four entries larger than GTA V’s and three larger than Red Dead Redemption 2’s. That would be a modest increase rather than a dramatic expansion.

However, more achievements do not necessarily mean more difficult completion requirements. A longer list might distribute rewards differently without making the overall challenge harder. Until the individual objectives are known, comparing difficulty would be guesswork.

GTA V also expanded its achievement collection through additional content after release. Consequently, GTA 6 could eventually follow a similar path. There is no announcement confirming that possibility, though, and the reported 55 entries cannot tell us whether future content will add more rewards.

The important distinction is between the size of a list and the experience of completing it. One difficult requirement could demand considerably more effort than several straightforward objectives. Right now, the leak provides no basis for judging either scenario.

What remains hidden before GTA 6 launches on November 19?

For completionists, the biggest missing details are arguably more important than the reported total. Nobody outside the relevant parties can establish from this leak which achievements relate to story progression, what optional activities might be required or how demanding the complete collection will become.

There is also no confirmed breakdown between story-related achievements and possible future additions. Likewise, the relationship between the mysterious 1,000-value entry and Xbox Mythic recognition remains unresolved.

Meanwhile, the release countdown is moving forward. GTA 6 pre-loading begins on November 10, nine days before launch. Players preparing their consoles can consult our GTA 6 pre-load guide for PS5 and Xbox for the download schedule.

The latest achievement speculation also arrives during the final stretch of the game’s commercial buildup. Our earlier look at GTA 6 PS5 sales estimates and Xbox pre-orders provides a separate perspective on the approaching release.

For confirmed game information, the appropriate reference remains Rockstar Games’ official Grand Theft Auto VI website. Its existence should not be mistaken for confirmation of the leaked achievement details.

Ultimately, the GTA 6 trophy leak is compelling because of what it leaves unanswered. A reported 55-entry configuration and one unexplained value suggest several possibilities, but neither reveals the final completion challenge. Until Rockstar publishes the actual list, would you rather see a demanding Platinum trophy or a collection that rewards players for exploring the game at their own pace?
