After a long period of silence, Solo Leveling: Ragnarok is finally about to fix one of the biggest problems with its official English release. On August 12, 2026, Tapas will resume publishing the sequel’s web novel, giving international readers access to the chapters that never made it onto the platform.
The important detail is that this is not a brand-new continuation of the story. Ragnarok already finished in its original format, but the English edition on Tapas has remained incomplete for years.
Tapas Is Bringing Back Solo Leveling: Ragnarok on August 12
The official English publication of Solo Leveling: Ragnarok originally arrived on Tapas in 2024, shortly after the anime adaptation helped push the franchise to a much wider global audience.
However, the platform stopped before reaching the end of the novel.
Tapas currently carries the story up to Chapter 318, while the complete web novel runs for 375 chapters. That leaves 57 chapters still missing from the official English release.
Starting August 12, Tapas is set to resume publication and finally close that gap, making the full story considerably easier to access for readers who have been waiting for an official translation.

The Return Does Not Mean New Ragnarok Chapters Are Being Written
The announcement has already created some confusion, with some fans interpreting it as a revival of the novel itself.
That is not what is happening.
Solo Leveling: Ragnarok concluded on July 23, 2025, with Chapter 375. The August release simply allows Tapas to finish publishing the chapters that were never previously released in English on the platform.
That distinction matters because the sequel’s original run is already complete. Readers who begin following the August release are not waiting for an unfinished story—they are finally getting access to the remaining portion of an already concluded one.
For newcomers, that makes this a particularly good moment to start Sung Suho’s story from the beginning, knowing the entire novel will soon be available officially.
The Ragnarok Manhwa Is Still the Bigger Mystery
While the web novel is finally returning, the status of the Solo Leveling: Ragnarok manhwa remains much less certain.
The adaptation began on August 1, 2024, but entered another hiatus on January 7, 2026, following the end of its second season.
Its artist, Jin, stepped away due to mandatory military service in South Korea. A successor was reportedly selected to continue the adaptation, but no official return date has been confirmed.
That leaves fans with a wider wait ahead. The manhwa could potentially return before the end of 2026, although a 2027 comeback remains possible.
In the meantime, the franchise has other projects on the horizon. Solo Leveling: Karma is expected later in 2026 and will explore the 27-Year Monarch War, while Solo Leveling: Beyond the System is planned for 2027 as a theatrical anime release.
Readers can follow official publication updates through the Tapas platform. Battle4Play also covers Xbox Series X news and Nintendo Switch updates.
For now, the key date is simple: August 12 finally gives Solo Leveling: Ragnarok readers access to the missing final stretch of the novel in English.
