Aniimo players trying to solve the latest Who’s That Aniimo challenge do not need to spend hours photographing random creatures across Idyll. The answer for the October 2 event is Glacy Sea of Flowers, but knowing its identity is only the first part of completing the challenge.

Unlike a creature you can simply approach after checking its habitat, this special Glacy needs to be triggered before players can photograph it. That means finding the correct area, catching a specific form of Skippy repeatedly and waiting for the game to confirm that Glacy has appeared.

Fortunately, the process becomes straightforward once you know exactly what the event expects.

Glacy Sea of Flowers is the October 2 Aniimo answer

The mystery creature featured in Who’s That Aniimo from October 2 is Glacy Sea of Flowers.

The event gradually reveals information about the hidden Aniimo as players photograph creatures sharing similar characteristics. Those clues point toward a creature associated with the Sea of Flowers habitat, Water, healing capabilities and swimming.

Glacy fits those clues particularly well.

Its Sea of Flowers Form is a Water and Ice Aniimo with a healing role. It belongs to the Nova Stage and also possesses Swim Lv.2, further narrowing the possibilities once enough of the silhouette and associated clues have been uncovered.

Visually, this form is also easy to distinguish once it appears. Rather than Glacy’s standard appearance, the Sea of Flowers version has a distinctive dreamy pink body.

However, identifying it from the clues does not automatically make it appear.

You need to catch 15 Skippy before Glacy appears

This is the step most likely to confuse players.

To trigger Glacy Sea of Flowers, head toward Heart Lake in the eastern part of the Sea of Flowers. Sea of Flowers Form Skippy can be found around this area, including near coordinates (-0146, 0815).

You then need to catch 15 Sea of Flowers Form Skippy in a row.

Do not simply defeat or photograph them. The requirement is based on catching the correct regional Skippy form consecutively.

After completing the sequence, the game should display the following notification:

A special Glacy has appeared in the Sea of Flowers.

That is the confirmation you are looking for.

Glacy can then appear around the Heart Lake area. Other current guides place possible appearances around the edge of the lake, so search the surrounding shoreline rather than leaving the region immediately after receiving the message.

The important part is completing those 15 catches first. Current location databases independently list the same special requirement for this Glacy spawn, making the Skippy sequence much more than an optional shortcut.

Take a picture of Glacy to finish Who’s That Aniimo

Once Glacy Sea of Flowers has spawned, do not overcomplicate the final step.

Approach the creature and open Aniimo’s Photo Mode. Position Glacy clearly in the shot and take its picture for the Who’s That Aniimo objective.

The event itself revolves around photography. Initially, players are presented with an incomplete silhouette and must photograph Aniimo sharing relevant traits to reveal more information about the mystery creature.

Finding the actual featured Aniimo then completes the central challenge.

This week’s solution is therefore essentially a three-part process:

  1. Travel to the Sea of Flowers and find Sea of Flowers Form Skippy near Heart Lake.
  2. Catch 15 of them consecutively until the special Glacy message appears.
  3. Find Glacy, enter Photo Mode and photograph its Sea of Flowers Form.

Aniimo’s creature designs and regional variations are a major part of what makes this kind of event work. Battle4Play explored that aspect extensively in our Aniimo coverage and review, including how different creatures, exploration and capture systems constantly encourage players to investigate Idyll.

The October 2 challenge gives five different rewards

Completing this week’s Who’s That Aniimo challenge provides several resources rather than a single prize.

According to the current event information, players receive:

  • 100 Sparkling Crystals
  • 1 Tumbler
  • 1 Wonder Egg
  • 50 Breezy Plains Dewdrop Crystals
  • 50 Glimmer

That gives players an additional reason to complete the photography challenge even if they already know where to find Glacy.

More importantly, Who’s That Aniimo is not simply asking players to recognize a silhouette. The Skippy requirement turns this week’s objective into a small environmental puzzle where knowledge of regional forms matters just as much as recognizing the final creature.

Who’s That Aniimo only gives you until October 8

The current Who’s That Aniimo event window runs from October 2 through October 8, 2026. Current event calendars also list the activity as live during that period, so players should complete the Glacy objective before the weekly mystery changes.

The fastest route is therefore simple: ignore random creatures once you know the answer, travel directly to Heart Lake and concentrate on Sea of Flowers Form Skippy.

After the fifteenth consecutive catch triggers the special spawn, locate Glacy Sea of Flowers and take the photograph required by the event.

It is a clever use of Aniimo’s regional forms because the solution requires more than recognizing Glacy itself. Players need to understand where this particular version comes from and complete a specific action before it even becomes available to photograph.

For anyone stuck on the October 2 silhouette, however, the mystery is over: Glacy Sea of Flowers is the Aniimo you are looking for.
